Copyright The Noun Project - Security_2481432The Emerging Security and Defence Team (EESD) brings together researchers and experts specialised in contemporary criminogenic threats (terrorism, organised crime, white-collar criminality, cyber threats, etc.) with the aim of responding to demands coming from various decision-makers (industries, Europe, governments) by providing them with a detailed, multidisciplinary analysis of the major security issues of our time. Weighing on almost all States on all continents, criminal and terrorist threats call for the strengthening of national and international scientific cooperation to understand the roots of crime, terrorism, outbreak of violence through and all related financing and propagation vectors (cybercrime, delinquency).

    SEREN4 Workshops at the Security Research Event – SRE 2019

    The Security Research NCP Network “SEREN4”, and the European LEA research and innovation networks “I-LEAD” and “ILEANET”, with the support of the European Commission, have organized the Security Research Event (SRE) 2019 workshops for practitioners. This event was composed of 2 sessions related to the 2020 topics in Horizon2020 on the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) to fight against crime, cybercrime, and terrorism.
